Meet Parent Mentor, Lynn
The third of the Hearpeers webinar series, held in partnership with MED-EL, will be hosted by Lynn, mum to Freya, aged 12 who is a bilateral cochlear implant user who wears two SONNET 2 audio processors. She is hearing herself and prior to Freya being born had no experience of deafness.

Lynn runs the local Deaf Children’s Society, volunteers with Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and works closely with the NDCS, Sensory Support and the Teachers of the Deaf to ensure high quality services for children with hearing loss and their families!
“We are now coming up to Freya’s 10 Year Implant Anniversary”.
“She is in mainstream school, competing in high level swimming competitions, raising money for charities and living life to the fullest!”
Join Lynn in this webinar as she discusses her experience of making the decision to get Freya implanted at the age of two and how overwhelmed she felt with the information given and her lack of experience of deafness, followed by a Q&A session to ask any questions you may have.
The third webinar will be held on Saturday 27th May at 11am to 11:30am, click on the link below to book your place.
